   Are quite good as well as for the 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front its image quality is more or less the same as the predecessors that means balanced but unremarkable we appreciate the new screen flash feature though the galaxy s7 captures 4k video just as expected from a flagship video quality spot-on as well and there is plenty of resort detail Samsung's flagship have always been the trendsetters and the galaxy s7 proudly joins its predecessors after the fundamental overall last year now we're witnessing polish and refinement instead of groundbreaking changes innovation is not lacking though and the camera is the biggest attention wrapper but the big story is simple.

 As usual the galaxy s7 has got a beautiful design a great display an excellent battery life and waterproofing it's such a complete package that the competition would have a hard time coming up with a worthy adversary you the Samsung Galaxy s7 is everything we hope the galaxy s6 to be but didn't the galaxy s7 marks.

 The return of the microSD slot and the waterproofing and while the battery is still sealed Samsung has been a lot more generous with the capacity the phone has a faster processor and an always-on screen that is surely an eye-catcher they've also managed to upgrade the camera in ways that may be less than obvious.

 Indeed camera phones have gone a long way in the few past years we are sure you would be amused by the fact that this entire video review has been shot on another galaxy s7 a galaxy s7 is unmistakably related to the s6 but the familiar design has been improved and refined size has hardly changed.

 It's only heavier and slightly thicker to accommodate the bigger battery the return of ip68 dust and waterproofing is another welcome change giving users a peace of mind the fingerprint reader embedded in the bottom below the screen works as well as before a double press of the button would also quickly start the camera no matter what you're doing the home.

 Screen is identical to the TouchWiz UI of other Samsung phones split-screen multitasking is supported as well as long as the apps supported Samsung game launcher is a new service which groups all the games at one place it allows you to adjust power used during gaming by capping frame rate or resolution most importantly this is where you activate the game tools key which lets you record your gameplay on video with or without a voice over.

 The phone feels great in the hand and is nowhere as slippery as you'd expect from a dual glass body but keeping it clean from smudges and fingerprints is a chore the AMOLED display of choice is an excellent piece of hardware and it's improved in almost every way even if only marginally.

 So it's brighter more color accurate and more legible in the bright Sun the new always-on feature can show you basic stuff like notifications and the time and date however it probably shouldn't come as a surprise that having it on takes its toll on the battery and our dedicated battery tests the galaxy s7 scored a commendable 80 hour endurance training turning the always-on screen.

 However reduce that score by almost 40% the good news is that the galaxy s7 outperforms the s6 in almost all of our battery life worldwide the Samsung Galaxy s7 is available with two distinct types of processors we receive the examiners version and it's a beast and offers heaps of raw CPU processing power and the graphics department is finally a proper match for the high screen resolution festival the phone never got.

 Uncomfortable hot in use but perhaps the most interesting aspect of the galaxy s7 is the revamped camera the galaxy s7 now comes with a 12 megapixel camera but that number is about the only aspect where we could call it a step back the new camera has larger pixels a brighter aperture and an incredible number of phase detection pixels all the while keeping the optical image stabilization of the predecessor.

 The dual pixel moniker comes from the fact that there is a face detection sensor adjoining each and every pixel on the image sensor Samsung is rightfully proud of it when it comes to focusing speed the new system blows the competition out of the water focusing inside image quality is excellent and the camera resolves plenty of detail white balance is spot-on and the colors are likable low-light photos.

  Hey what's up everybody dude we got IOS 11.3 on the iPhone 6 the official version no more betas for this thing no more nothing now we're just gonna see how it runs now I do have some sad news this isn't looking like it's gonna be good for the iPhone 6 I think for the newer device it's going to be a lot better but for the iPhone 6 specifically I don't think I was 11.3 is you know supposed to be good for it honestly now with 11.3. I'll just explain some of the features and most of the features weren't even for the iPhone 6 some ant emojis some other cool little things that they added.

 I will say one thing they did add the battery stats within it right so if you go here within the battery you had battery health which is kind of funny as a beta and in the betas it was still a beta so it's a beta within the beta so you can click that you can have a little bit more information on what your battery status is so the maximum capacity is 100%.

 the peak performance capability whatever right now it's currently at 100% which I don't think it's at on but I think this battery had to deteriorate it somewhat but there's supposed to be a toggle here somewhere that you can enable or disable this I don't know what's taking Apple.

 So long to add that in but sooner or later they're going to add it I think I have a reason why they haven't added in yet but I'm not gonna say it again I did run a benchmark ok and on the beta is the beta 6 I believe I had 70 3449 as the multi-core score and I just reread it and I went down to 67,000 178.

 So that's a huge downgrade and I'm not really sure what made it downgrade that much because honestly flowing through and everything it doesn't seem like it slowed down that much but this whole entire beta did come at around almost 2 gigabytes on this thing.

 So that's a huge huge update and I was on beta 6 - so I can't believe it was that big about update but yeah I mean apparently freed up a little bit of storage on some other people were saying that I haven't even checked it but honestly concerning this score.

 I'm willing to give up a little bit of the score to have a more polished version of iOS and if that's what it takes and I'm willing to give it up so I'll probably have an updated version of this and a couple days to see how it runs.

 In a couple days so stay tuned for that if you're on iOS 11 point 2 point 6 and you don't care about Joe breaking you should probably update this as the safest most secure version of iOS so far I guess it fixes a lot of those Siri bugs and stuff like that.

 The iPhone 7 plus is the best buy phones has been one of the biggest phones I have ever used I mean seriously this thing is gigantic yeah I know it's a pretty unusual way to start a video but the size of this phone is kind of the only thing that has not really grown on me even after using this device quite extensively for quite a lot of time now and that's mainly because of the forehead and the chin of this device at contains two speakers in the earpiece and the home button and it's also ridiculously expensive so it should definitely head on the spear dot IO which would not only serve you with the best pricing of the seven plus but also give you a strong qualitative and quantitative analysis of the same I've linked it below but other than that I've got to say this that if you have not really seen this device in person I'm pretty sure that you actually underestimate and underrate the design of this phone it's pretty spectacular in terms of design in fact in my usage time I kind of took some time off from the screen and actually gazed at the design at the construction of this device as I usually do but what I figured out from my time with it is that the beauty of this device is actually its simplicity it's much more cleaner than the last iteration because now the antenna lines kind of go along with the boundary of the phone so it feels an airplane design at the back just a flat aluminum panel with logo of the company it just looks.

 I expected in my experience in best buy phones the ethics have been very smooth overall I've done a few speed tests woods and compared devices and I will link to those in the description below if you want to check them out for the software you have Android version 7.0 and I still haven't got my update to Android 7.1.1 as yet personally I don't really mind the skin and it's not as heavy as it used to be it also does provide some useful features like let you customize many buttons and choosing between having them there or only when you swipe up but my main issue with software skins are the updates I understand that they can't come right away but they can take a very long time to come sometimes and I really do hope that something stay on top of the updates we get the Android Oh update soon after it's out for storage you have 64 gigabytes as a base under a micro SD card slot so storage really won't be a problem for you and I do think you'll be using a lot of storage on these devices because of all the images and videos that you'll be taking with them so we have a 12 megapixel camera with an F or 1.7 aperture optical image stabilisation and dual pixel to focus now specs wise they might not seem too different but we do have some improvements in image processing and stabilization images a super sharp vibrant with excellent performance in low-light and video is great with the fastest autofocus you'll find you also have many controls for both video and images which do give you flexibility over your shots the front-facing camera now has 8 megapixels with an F 1.7 aperture and picks great selfies overall now it's not as wide as it was last year but it is definitely more stable when using video looks like something has added some form of stabilization to the front-facing camera without telling anyone about it and this was discovered by the teardown video of BSA 2 by my buddy Zach from jerry-rigged everything now then a ton of super star camera comparisons of the SAS with some of the competitors so definitely do go ahead and check those out on the channel we've still got a single bottom facing speak it's okay but obviously not as good as stereo speakers you do however get some AKG earphones out of the box which do sound pretty good now let's talk about Bigsby something's very own personal assistant which can be launched by the dedicated button below the volume buttons so firstly the voice assistant hasn't fully rolled out yet and it's not here in the UK right now anyway so I can't really tell you much about that but from what I've seen it does perform pretty well letting you take actions within apps there's also the Big C visual assistant where you can point the camera at things such as building the products and it's going to pull up some more information about those it works so King likes beer I mean I was in Dubai I pointed this at the Burj Khalifa and sure enough it did bring me some information about the best Khalifa but generally speaking I haven't found myself using it too much one of the things that I do like is the reminder it gives you to switch on your alarm for instance I'm not sure how to activate this on to make it remind you when you've not switched enough for anything but I have noticed it pop up now and then and that has been definitely useful so guys that is my 3 month later review of the Samsung Galaxy S II NSA 2 plus as mentioned there's lots of things to like about these devices may be a few shortcomings which hopefully will get improved next year but overall I do think these are the best smartphones month later review of the Samsung Galaxy s8 and s8 plus so spoiler ruler I really do like these phones and that main reason why I've been using the si plus as my primary daily driver since it came out and there's lots of good reasons for that which we'll be covering in this video and although will mostly be talking about the S eight plus in this video will also be touching on the s8 which has the same features with some minor differences so to start off with I have to say that these have the best smartphone displays on the market right now and they're called infinity screens for a good reason you barely have any bezels which means you get a huge 6.2 inch display on the s8 plus in a relatively compact body comparing this to something like the iPhone 7 plus you can clearly see how much of a bigger display you have with a similar sized shell and with the regular C you get a 5.8 inch display in a much more compact form factor now these aren't the first smartphones with minimal bezels but they are the first smartphones with minimal bezels and curved displays the edges are beautifully curved over on both sides and a symmetrical on the back too which not only make these look great but also more comfortable to hold the new design also brings a new aspect ratio of 18 point 5 by 9 instead of the standard 16 by 9 we see on smartphones and what this means is that you get much more onto your screen vertically which is ideal for when you're scrolling through apps such as Twitter Facebook and Instagram this is especially useful when you're using multi windows so for instance you can have a video playing and be typing within your messaging app at the same time quite comfortably now one of the things that are some people have been talking about is the black bars that you get on the left and right when viewing sixteen by nine videos personally for me this hasn't really been an issue because on a traditional device you'd have a similar viewing experience except those black bars would be bezels also you can always crop to fit but that will cut off some of your video these are also Super AMOLED displays which means you get vibrant colors deep blacks and super sharp details because of the quad HD plus resolution now personally I have my ethic too plus mostly in full HD mode mainly because a normal viewing distance I do think you need that amount of detail having quad-hd plus is ideal for VR and these work great with the Samsung gear VR - another reason to switch to full HD mode is to save on the battery life on the s8 plus for me has been pretty good overall now battery life can vary depending on your usage and if you're mostly on Wi-Fi or 4G but on a general day I get about 4 to 5 hours of on screen time on the s8 plus but on some days when I've been on Wi-Fi at home I've got up to 6 hours plus now with the regular Sh you'll be getting slightly less because of these smaller battery size but generally speaking I think you should be absolutely fine with both of these and you do have fast charging and fast wireless charging whenever you need a quick top-up now let's talk a little bit about the build and design of these and once again I have to say these are the best looking smartphones out there right now the combination of the metal frame with the symmetrical curve great glass five panels on the front and back mean these phones look absolutely gorgeous the plain glass of the back can however attract some fingerprints but there's a simple solution to there and that's with a skin from our channel sponsored e brand now my favorite skin at the moment is the dragon skin and this also gives the device more grip and if you're interested in picking one of these skins up I'll be leaving the link to be brand in the description below and we still have ip68 water and dust resistance so you'll have no problems if you take these for a bit of a bit now one design criticism that I can't go and mention it is the placement of the fingerprint scanner it works well and it's super fast but I really wish they had placed it below the camera in a more reachable position that wouldn't risk you smudging the lens now you do get used to after a bit because of muscle memory but nevertheless it is still inconvenient and the wallets of rumors that something will try to embed it within the disability but they didn't manage to do this in time and it doesn't look like they're going to be able to do it in time for the note 8 either so hopefully we'll have a fingerprint scanner embedded within the display for the s9 now there is an alternative unsecured method to unlock your device and that is with the iris scanner it works well in general but does take longer than the fingerprint scanner plus for someone like me who wears sunglasses and glasses a lot it's not the most ideal unlocking method now for the performance inside these you have either this fat drug an 8 3 5 or the Samsung Exynos 88-90 5 with 4 gigabytes of RAM.
